Bottled Water Free Day March 11
Our Back to the Tap Taste Challenge at Lakehead University on Bottled Water Free Day once again showed City of Thunder Bay tap water is the taste favourite. 94 participants picked their favourite and here are the results: Sample A was filtered City water, and the favourite at 59.6% Sample C was water straight from the tap, and the second choice at 27.6% Sample B was bottled spring water and came in a distant third at only 12.8 %.
We must note, however, that there some issues with differences in water sample temperature that may have affected the results. In future taste challenges, we will ensure that all samples are the same temperature.
