imageOn November 29th EcoSuperior partnered with Drive Wise driving school to present Thunder Bay's first ecoDriver Rally Challenge. Between 12 - 4 pm local teams participated in a driving challenge to beat their vehicle's NRCan fuel mileage rating. Practicing ecoDriving can be a challenge but it was great to see everyone out and participating. As well as having the Rally visitors to the ecoDriver launch were also able to participate in an ecoDriver presentation on driving techniques and maintenance options. Drive Wise had a driving simulator setup giving free lessons on defensive and hazardous driving techniques. EcoSuperior was also selling block heater timers for $5 to anyone that dropped in.

EcoSuperior would like to thank all participants in the ecoDriver Rally and for their generous contributions to the local Food Bank. We hope everyone who participated had fun and we look forward to hosting more ecoDriver challenges.

The Rally Race started at the Labour Centre and teams were asked to drive to Hillcrest Park and County Fair then return to the Labour Centre.  At each location the teams received a stamp showing they had arrived.  Choosing the best route and driving habits provided the best fuel savings.
