Contest Details:

Lake Superior Day connects people, water, the environment and the economy by celebrating our precious freshwater resource. Lake Superior Day is a binational celebration that promotes restoration and protection efforts. This special day  is held annually on the third Sunday in July throughout communities along the Lake Superior Basin. Join in the celebration by submitting your favorite photo of Lake Superior. You could win a great prize and have your photo featured on our website and facbook page!

Submit your photos from now until July 1at 4 PM. The photos will be posted on our facebook page, allowing facebook fans to vote by “liking” the photo.  Voting will end July 13 at noon and the three entries with the most “likes” will be declared the winners.

Winners of the photo contest will have their photo displayed on our homepage with recognition to the photographer. Winners also receive complimentary Superior Fish Dinner tickets and passes for a 60 minute harbour tour with Sail Superior, to be enjoyed on Lake Superior Day, July 17, 2011.

Contest Theme: How do you enjoy Lake Superior?
