Rain Garden Self-Guided Tour 2017

Join EcoSuperior for a free self-guided tour of five residential rain gardens in Thunder Bay to celebrate the community’s commitment to stormwater management. Rain gardens are landscaped depressions that soak up rainwater runoff from the roof of a house or other hard surface, instead of flowing into a storm drain that empties into our local streams.

See what Thunder Bay residents are doing to manage stormwater and naturalize urban spaces. Learn what you can do, too!

Saturday, September 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Participants are invited to tour each location in any order between the start and finish time.

This program is funded by the City of Thunder Bay’s Infrastructure and Operations Department and delivered by EcoSuperior.
