Tap into WATER! Classroom presentation

Back to the Tap / Water does Wonders

EcoSuperior and the Healthy Kids Community Challenge Water Does Wonders campaign have partnered to bring you more opportunities to promote drinking tap water with your students!

Book a 60 minute presentation for your class today to explore the connections between water, the environment, and your health! Presentations are available for all grades K-12.

Every participating class is eligible to receive free bussing to the Bare Point Water Treatment Plant (which offers free school tours) and will be entered to win the following great prizes:

K – Grade 3: All the Water in the World (book) by George Ella Lyon and Katherine Tillotson

Grades 4-8: LaMotte ‘Tap water Tour’ water quality examination kit (for hands-on classroom learning)

Grades 9-12: TBA! (Great things, rest assured!)

Still not convinced? Water makes up more than half of a child’s body weight. It is an essential nutrient, contains no sugar, calories, additives, or caffeine. Thunder Bay’s tap water is some of the best in the world – and choosing tap water over bottled water is an environmentally responsible choice.

Take advantage of this great opportunity to promote human and environmental health, enhance student learning, and access great resources for your class! Contact ecosuperior%23org|Aynsley or 624-2147 to get involved!
