Join Nancy Angus of WALKstock as she introduces Thunder Bay’s FIRST Festival of Walking and explains how it will make tracks in Thunder Bay! EcoSuperior's project coordinator Ashley Priem will discuss Active Transportation and how walking positively impacts our environment and neighbourhoods.

Join Alan Cranston, Community Engagement Manager for Fresh Air, as he demonstrates walking gear, tech and why all running/walking shoes are not created equal. Learn how to pick the perfect pair for you. Bring your questions, go home with answers. Make your walk easier!

Set goals to walk the neighbourhood, then the world! Join world walking trekkers, Keith Nymark and Cathy Farrell and Rosemary and Wayne Melville as they share photos and stories of walking holidays in Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, England, and right here at home!
Thursday, MAY 24, 7 pm to 8:30 pm
Join Dr. Jennifer Lailey, a family physician who practices psychotherapy and runs mindfulness groups in the community. She has a regular meditation practice and is curious and knowledgeable about the impact that mindful awareness has on the way we live our lives. Join Dr. Lailey as she shares techniques on walking mindfully.
