Safe Cycling Thunder Bay



On Sunday, June 10 noon to 4 pm, WALKstock, Thunder Bay’s Festival of Walking will fill the International Friendship Gardens park with people of all ages to walk and talk and learn about walking!  Admission is FREE!
To get you geared up for the WALKstock festival, please join us for the following WALKshop. It takes place at the Mary J L Black Library and refreshments are provided. Admission is FREE
Walking Mindfully
Thursday, MAY 24, 7 pm to 8:30 pm
Join Dr. Jennifer Lailey, a family physician who practices psychotherapy and runs mindfulness groups in the community. She has a regular meditation practice and is curious and knowledgeable about the impact that mindful awareness has on the way we live our lives.  Join Dr. Lailey as she shares techniques on walking mindfully.

We’re looking for businesses who promote walking and sell walking gear, groups that organize walking programs, and fitness pros who want to help us with walking workouts.
