Land Acknowledgement
EcoSuperior respectfully acknowledges that we live and work primarily in the Lake Superior watershed and Boreal Forest; on the traditional and ancestral lands of the Ahnisnabae People and the signatories to the Robinson Superior Treaty of 1850. We further acknowledge that today, our City of Thunder Bay and region is home to many Indigenous People from across Turtle Island (North America).
In the spirit of reconciliation, we are committed to healthy relations with First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples based on the principles of mutual trust, respect, and reciprocity. Recognizing and honouring the past stewards and original land keepers, we aim to work together in a collective, collaborative society where all can connect meaningfully with the rich history of the lands and waters we call home.
