Rain Garden Tour 2020

Attend a free self-guided tour of rain gardens in Thunder Bay to celebrate our community’s commitment to stormwater management. Rain gardens are landscaped depressions that soak up rainwater runoff from the roof of a house or other hard surface, instead of flowing into storm drains that empty into our local streams.

See what Thunder Bay residents and property owners are doing to manage stormwater and naturalize urban spaces. Chat with rain garden hosts about the rain garden rebate program and learn what you can do, too!

Saturday, September 12 from 12 to 4 pm. Online registration is required.

This program is funded by the City of Thunder Bay’s Infrastructure and Operations Department and delivered by EcoSuperior.
