Imagine a Solar Powered Forest in the heart of the Bay/Algoma business area! Superior Renewable Energy Cooperative is working on a proposed project on the former PetroCanada property. Incorporating the functionality of solar power and an artistic look this project will be an excellent educational demonstration of solar power.

SREC is also hiring an Intern for 2010.

Sustainable Communities in the North Conference

The Sustainable Communities in the North conference will be held February 25-26, 2010, with the first day hosted at Confederation College and the second at Lakehead University. The conference offers a forum for all communities and businesses in Northern Ontario to connect and collectively address sustainability challenges that are particular to our communities.
