"All the water that will ever be is, right now."
-- National Geographic, October 1993
Water is a critical resource and one that we must protect for future generations. Many of our daily activities have an impact on water quality, and EcoSuperior encourages you to learn about making choices that help maintain and restore water quality in our streams, rivers and lakes. We are actively involved in a variety of initiatives aimed at addressing water quality issues in the Lake Superior Basin, including:
- RAIN- an ecological approach to stormwater management
- Stream Stewardship
- Well Aware
- Lake Superior Areas of Concern (Jackfish Bay, Peninsula Harbour)
- Lakewide Management Plan
